So I'm wanting to automate the process of getting Blazing Blood, but I've run into a snag where you can't simply pipe Blaze Rod Chickens straight from a Breeder into the Smeltery Controller, it states that they are not smeltable. So Chickens in their inventory state cannot be smelted, only active mob chickens can.

It does not have to be directly adjacent to it.It's a 7x7, has two drains, a controller, and four lava tanks. I have also tried it with just one lava tank. It is intersected by a chunk boundary, however I tested a separate smeltery within one chunk that was 3x3 and it still never formed the multiblock.
